Project Experience
Phase 1B Stage 3 Groundwater Protection Composite Liner System –
SWT prepared Construction Drawings, specifications and Design Report through the On-Call Engineering Services Contract with SWMD (2016 to 2019). SWT is also performing construction engineering support for this project.
LCRS Pumping, Storage and Transfer System -
SWT performed Design for the LCRS Sump and Pump Systems, Pump Riser Sleeves, Control Panels for LCRS Sump Pump System and Leachate Load-Out/Transfer System, Containment Storage Area, and Leachate Load-Out/Transfer Facilities for the Phase 1B Stage 3 Groundwater Protection System. Completion of Construction for this facility is scheduled for the end of 2019.
NONA Stormwater Basin/Supporting Channels/Storm Drain Pipe Systems -
SWT performed design for a Notice of Non-Applicability (NONA) Stormwater Basin/Supporting Channels/Storm Drain Pipe Systems for the developed portion of the Victorville Sanitary Landfill. The Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board required the NONA Basin to be lined; SWT designed the liner system and the stormwater extraction pump port to allow utilization of the stormwater for site dust control.
Entrance Road/Scale House Design - SWT performed design for the new Site Entrance Road and Scale House Facilities, including access road design, scale approach and foundations, scale area drainage, and Scale House Architectural Design (HC&D Architects); Construction Document preparation included Project Specifications, and Bid Documents. Construction Engineering Support services were provided for the access road and scale area improvements Fall of 2011 to early 2012. SWT staff has also performed design and construction engineering support for the Phase 1A Liner construction project; and design of the Phase 1B, Stage 1 Liner construction project.
