SWT provided Engineering Design, and Construction Engineering Support Services for the Phase 1 Partial Final Closure Construction Project for 68.9 Acres of closure construction at the front face (First Phase) of the Olinda Alpha Landfill.

Partial Final Closure Construction Projects:
SWT provided Engineering Design, and Construction Engineering Support Services for the Phase 1 Partial Final Closure Construction Project for 68.9 Acres of closure construction at the front face (First Phase) of the Olinda Alpha Landfill. SWT also provided Engineering Design and Construction Engineering Support Services for the Phase 2 Partial Final Closure Construction Project for 80 Acres of closure construction at the front face (Second Phase) of the Olinda Alpha Landfill. As part of the Phase 2 Partial Final Closure Construction Project, two concrete lined sedimentation basins, two water loadout tanks with automated pumping system (containing 5,000 linear feet of pressurized piping), and a two-million cubic yard stockpile over refuse were installed.

Engineering Consultant Services
As the on-call engineering consultant for Orange County Waste & Recycling North Region (2013 through 2019) and under Board Contract, SWT has provided the following client services: Design services for Phase 1 Closure Construction Drawings, Contract Documents and Specifications for 68.9 Acres of closure construction at the front face (First Phase) of the Olinda Alpha Landfill; Phase 2 Closure Construction Drawings, Contract Documents and Specifications for 80 Acres of closure construction at the front face (Second Phase) of the Olinda Alpha Landfill with two concrete sedimentation basins, two water loadout tanks with automated pumping system, and a two-million cubic yard stockpile over refuse; Construction Management Services for the Access Road Rehabilitation Project, existing conditions hydrology/hydraulic analysis; evaluate/recommend drainage system improvements such as sedimentation basin capacity increases and skimmer system functionality; design hydrology/hydraulic calculations and Construction Drawings, Specifications, Bid Documents, and Engineering Support for the 3,800 foot long Middle East Channel Improvement Project; Prepared a 60-percent design for 4000 additional linear feet of the Upper East Perimeter Channel; Pump and Control design with Construction Drawings to expand on-site water system functionality.
SWT staff also developed scale replacement drawings for the existing landfill scales that included drainage control and channel improvement plans1
